Opening Happiness at the World of Coca-Cola
After my solo visit to the Georgia Aquarium, the next day, my colleagues and I went to see the World of Coca-Cola. It was a beautiful day so I went ahead and took a picture.
World of Coca-Cola is just beside the Georgia Aquarium so if you come early enough, you can visit both in one day.

We came in after lunch and to our surprise, there wasn't a line. Since there wasn't much people, we took the opportunity to take selfies.

Once we got in, we were at the lobby and there were a lot of people, reason because they were waiting to get into the theater.

Once we went inside, we went to a gallery full of Coca-Cola memorabilia dating back to more than 50 years ago. We were told to get as many pictures already because after the brief history and introduction, we won't be bale to go back again.Other than giving us a quick history of Coke and giving us more information on the memorabilia around us, she also tried to break the ice by asking where each visitor came from. There were visitors across the US as well as foreign ones (like us).

After the introduction, we came inside the theater. No filming was allowed but we were allowed to take pictures before the video started.

The video was around 5 - 10 minutes and it was about happiness and how happiness was part of our everyday lives. To be honest at the end of the video I was teary eyed because the message of the video it really tugged on your heart strings. Apparently, Lui felt the same way.
After the video, we went to vault for a short presentation and then after showed us the actual vault where the secret formula of Coca - Cola is kept.

After going around and learning about Coke, ofcourse I wouldn't miss the opportunity to take a picture with their beloved mascot, the Coke polar bear. The picture below was a second take already. The first picture I had was with Lui and Louise. Unfortunately, the shot was a little blurry so we went back in line and this time did solo shots instead.

After our picture with the Coke polar bear, we went around more and took more pictures.

Like any other good attraction, a 4D mini movie is a must.

It was a fun ride and a must try. You know what makes Coke a Coke? You'll need to find out for yourself when you check this out.

The last and probably the best thing that we did was the Taste It where you can sample the Coke products that are being sold around the world, sorted by continents. Ofocurse there will be familiar faces especially in the North America section where you'll have Coke, diet Coke, etc., but the fun thing is tasting the other products being sold in different countries. The first thing I tried and probably was a big mistake was called Beverly and was being sold in Italy. My gosh, one sip and I almost wasn't able to swallow it. It was so bitter. I guess that was one of the highlights because every person after me had the same reaction. There was even a group where one guy told his friend to drink it and laughed at the reaction.

Some were OK, while some I thought tasted like carbonated medicine. Well I guess it really just depends on the taste preferences of each country and market. I tried to taste as many and even though I was just taking a sip of each, I was already full (and burpy).

The last part after tasking a lot of soda was to give you a Coke as a souvenir. Ofcourse other than that, you will be exiting through the Coke store to purchase more souvenirs and memorabilia.

The Coke store had a lot of variation, from the usual magnets, keychains and clothing, to really collectible memorabilia. They also had nice selection of clothes, sleepwear and bags that had that vintage feel. I just got my magnet, my keychain and a Coke mug to bring home.

After my visit, I can now say that I drank Coke where it all started, here in Atlanta.
